For Young Lawyers.

The competition, named after one of Nigeria’s well-known lawyers and the former Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Mazi Afam Osigwe SAN, was instituted by Courtroom Mail to engage and encourage young lawyers in Nigeria.Nigeria.

The 2023 2nd edition is restricted to all young Lawyers in Nigeria who are within seven years and below post-call.

This noble contest’s grand prize winner will be awarded N150,000.00, the second will get 120,000.00, and the third will get N100,000 cash towards purchasing a law book.

The match will be in four stages, and champions at all phases will be determined according to who answers the questions accurately.

The Courtroom Mail Prize Competition.

The first stage has the foremost question (already posted), known as the registration question. Any young Lawyer who answers the first question on or before the 15th of June, 2023, is deemed to have registered for the competition and will qualify for the second stage.

The second stage will have the following question, which will be opened at precisely 8am on Saturday, 17th of June 2023: This stage will be open to only those who answered the registration question in stage one correctly.


Where the title to or interest in family or communal land is in issue, the oral evidence of family or communal tradition concerning such title or interest is admissible.

Only fifty per cent of the first competitors with correct answers to the second question will qualify for stage 2 and be eligible to participate in stage 3.

Note that no one can join the competition after the first stage. All questions will be answered in the comment section for registered and logged-in users.
